For over 70 years, Lotus has been an iconic British brand, revered by enthusiasts as the ‘purest’ sports car in the world. With new ambitions, the brand sought to broaden its appeal to a more luxury audience to stimulate sales of its existing range and of new cars in the pipeline, particularly the £2 million Hypercar, Evija. Embracing the founder’s philosophy, Colin Chapman, the brand’s maverick character was embedded in a new vision/mission statement, OOH, Shanghai Motor Show films, website, ‘dazzles’, and stand designs, alongside activity on social media platforms. For one reason only - FOR THE DRIVERS.
Result: The entire 2020 production run was sold, despite a £2m price tag.
